Overview

Our Brussels office aims to recruit a Manager to strengthen its team. The unique value that we offer our clients requires unique talents from our consultants. We are therefore looking for multilingual people with a high sense of creativity and learning agility, outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills and a great deal of entrepreneurship. 

 

As a Manager at Arthur D. Little you lead the successful accomplishment of our assignments. Therefore, you will:

 

  • Structure the overall mission in line with the client’s issues and needs
  • Provide clear focused support and expertise to your team in structuring and solving problems
  • Manage the workload while coaching team members to ensure a successful delivery
  • Communicate recommendations and sensitive messages to senior level client audience

 

In addition to this, you also build relationships beyond project assignments and are able to spot and help develop opportunities for future business.

 

You have relevant management experience in a consulting firm or in a similar position in the industry. As future Manager at Arthur D. Little you will:

 

Demonstrate broad industry knowledge combined with sharp business acumen

Are able to quickly develop an understanding of the client’s situation to maximize the impact of Arthur D. Little’s presence

Can fall back on appropriate leadership and convincing skills to motivate your team and drive change in your client’s environment

Responsibilities

DRIVING THE CONTENT

  • Frame the problem at project level and manage the case team analytical process
  • Ensure right level of insight and right level of integration between different modules of the assignment
  • Write the storyline at project level

MANAGING THE CLIENT

  • Own project process, content and day-to-day client interactions, facilitate senior level meetings and client presentations
  • Engage the client fully to ensure strategies are translated into actionable plans e.g. arranging and leading workshops
  • Present key findings to C-level executives

MANAGING THE TEAM

  • Coach, develop and manage case team members on a day-to-day basis

CONTRIBUTING TO ADL’S DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH TRAJECTORY

  • Progressively develop specific expertise/Topic ownership on industrial or functional practices as a basis for future commercial development
  • Contribute to ADL’s knowledge management basis through client assignment development or specific research
  • Contribute at office/practice level on defined transversal activities

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are keen to put their intellect, curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm to test in a sometimes high-pressure client-driven environment. You have relevant management experience in a consulting firm, or in a similar position in the industry.
